We offer two location scuba dive trips by boat to the reefs and wrecks off of Key Largo. Snorkelers are welcome to join.

Our trips can be two beautiful reefs, wreck and reef or two wrecks. This will depend on certification levels and conditions. Dive location is determined by scheduling, weather conditions and lowest certification level. Please call if you'd like more information for diving specifics.

Checkout Dive Key Largo Scuba Diving Course

A Scuba Checkout Dive Trip is designed to help newly certified divers get comfortable in open and or confined water with the guidance of a professional instructor or divemaster. During this trip, you’ll complete two relaxed, shallow dives focused on practicing essential skills, fine-tuning buoyancy, and building confidence underwater. Before entering the water, your guide will review dive planning, equipment setup, and safety procedures. Once underwater, you’ll demonstrate basic skills such as mask clearing, regulator recovery, and controlled ascentsall at an easy pace and in a supportive environment. There’s plenty of time to explore the reef, observe marine life, and enjoy the dive while your guide keeps a close eye on everything.

Book a private 4-hour scuba diving charter on our 30-foot USCG-inspected vessel, designed for small groups of up to 6 passengers. This is full boat charter for two tanks with two locations scuba diving. We specialize in boat trips of small groups of Scuba Divers and Snorkelers to the 3rd largest barrier reef in the world. BlueWater Diver is a U.S. Coast Guard inspected thirty foot custom dive vessel. We offer bottled water and snacks.

PADI Open Water Diver Certification

Learn to scuba dive with certified PADI instructors in a two-day course designed to teach essential diving knowledge and safety skills. The $695 fee includes eLearning, rental gear, and four open-water dives. Day 1 covers briefing, pool practice, and dives 1–2; Day 2 completes dives 3–4. Students must finish the online PADI course, forms, and a swim test (200m swim, 10-minute float). All gear, snacks, and water are provided. Deposits are nonrefundable but valid for one year. After certification, divers can explore the underwater world independently anywhere in the world.

Key Largo Discover Scuba Diving Experience

Try scuba diving in Key Largo with our 7-hour Discover Scuba Diving program, designed for beginners ages 10 and up. Start with a morning pool session for skill practice and a safety briefing, followed by an afternoon two-tank open water dive on our USCG-inspected dive boat. All dives are guided by an experienced PADI-certified instructor.

Your booking includes all necessary gear, tanks and weights, snacks and water, dockside rinse tanks, and onboard camera rinse tanks. Divers must be able to swim 200 yards unassisted and float for 10 minutes.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification

Enhance your diving abilities with a PADI Advanced Open Water certification led by experienced instructors. This two-day, three-boat-trip course costs $599 and includes eLearning. Students build on their open water training with supervised deep diving, underwater navigation, and three elective specialty dives such as wreck, drift, or photography. Gear rental is available, and tanks, weights, snacks, and water are provided. Complete the PADI eLearning before arrival. Deposits are nonrefundable and valid for one year.

PADI Rescue Diver

The PADI Rescue Diver course, priced at $599 with eLearning included, trains divers ages 12 and up to handle emergencies of all levels through knowledge development and practical rescue exercises. The 10–12 hour program covers self-rescue, stress management, emergency response, and rescuing panicked or unresponsive divers. Complete the eLearning before arrival; the $196 fee is nonrefundable once redeemed. Gear rental is available, and tanks, weights, snacks, water, shower access, and rinse tanks are provided.

PADI Open Water Diver Certification + Nitrox Bundle

Learn to scuba dive with certified PADI instructors in a two-day course designed to teach essential diving knowledge and safety skills. The $850 fee includes eLearning, rental gear, and four open-water dives, as well as your Nitrox certification. Day 1 covers briefing, Jules, and dives 1–2; Day 2 completes dives 3–4. Students must finish the online PADI course, forms, and a swim test (200m swim, 10-minute float). All gear, snacks, and water are provided. Deposits are nonrefundable but valid for one year. PADI Refresher Course – Key Largo

Get back into diving with confidence with our PADI Refresher Course in Key Largo, designed for certified divers who want to review essential scuba skills and safety procedures. This program is ideal for PADI Open Water Divers (or equivalent certification) who have not been diving recently and want a quick, guided review before returning to regular scuba diving. During this 1- or 2-day refresher course, you will work with a certified PADI instructor to review core diving skills, including a 1⁄2-day pool session to practice buoyancy control and fundamental scuba techniques, followed by two open water boat dives in the beautiful waters of Key Largo. You will also review scuba equipment setup, dive safety procedures, and underwater communication, helping you rebuild comfort, confidence, and proper diving techniques before your next adventure underwater.
