Whether you're a seasoned diver looking to log some bottom time or bringing the family for a mix of diving and snorkeling, we've got you covered. With a professional dive guide leading every trip, you'll discover sites that locals know best while diving safely in these crystal-clear waters. The best part? You only need to put down a 25% deposit to secure your spot, then pay the balance after your dives are complete.

Beneath the Surface

Every morning and afternoon, we head out to two different dive sites chosen based on current conditions, weather, and the certification levels of our group. This isn't a cookie-cutter operation – your dive sites could be a pair of vibrant coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, a combination wreck and reef dive, or even two different shipwrecks if conditions and certifications allow. The variety keeps things exciting, and our captains know these waters like the back of their hand. Trips typically run 3-4 hours depending on the sites we visit, giving you plenty of time to really explore underwater without feeling rushed. Snorkelers are absolutely welcome and often see just as much marine life from the surface as divers do below. We provide tanks, weights, snacks, and water onboard, plus you'll have access to camera rinse tanks, dockside facilities, and free parking.

Dive Brief & Gear Info

Before we splash, your guide will give you a thorough briefing on the dive sites, entry and exit procedures, and what you're likely to encounter down there. All certified divers need to bring proof of certification – either your physical card or digital version works perfectly. If you're renting gear, we'll get you fitted properly before departure. Our boats are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable dive experience, including fresh water rinse stations for your camera gear and plenty of space to suit up. The dive sites around Key Largo range from shallow coral gardens perfect for newer divers to deeper wrecks that challenge more experienced underwater explorers. Most of our reef dives sit in 15-25 feet of water with excellent visibility, while wreck sites can go deeper depending on the specific location and your certification level.

Marine Life You'll See

The waters around Key Largo are home to an amazing variety of marine life that keeps divers coming back year after year. Parrotfish are everywhere here, and these colorful characters are always entertaining to watch as they munch on coral and sand. You'll hear them crunching away underwater – it's one of those sounds that really makes you feel like you're in their world. They're most active during the day, making them perfect subjects for underwater photography. Green sea turtles are another customer favorite, and Key Largo's seagrass beds and reef systems provide ideal habitat for these gentle giants. They're most commonly spotted during morning dives when they're actively feeding, and they're surprisingly curious about divers who move slowly and respectfully through their territory.

Nurse sharks are year-round residents that love to hang out under ledges and in sandy areas between coral heads. Despite their intimidating name, these bottom-dwellers are completely harmless to divers and often let you get surprisingly close for photos. Summer months bring the best visibility for spotting them as they become more active in warmer water temperatures. The massive Goliath grouper is perhaps the most impressive encounter you might have on our deeper wreck dives. These prehistoric-looking fish can weigh hundreds of pounds and show little fear of divers, often positioning themselves right in front of your mask for an up-close inspection that'll get your heart pumping.

Tropical reef fish fill every dive site with constant color and movement. Angelfish, butterflyfish, wrasses, and countless other species create the classic Caribbean reef experience that underwater photographers dream about. The diversity peaks during summer months when water temperatures are warmest, but even winter diving here offers incredible fish life that beats most cold-water destinations hands down. Our guides know the best spots to find cleaning stations where fish gather, creating perfect opportunities for observing natural behaviors and getting those money shots with your underwater camera.

The combination of healthy reefs, historic wrecks, and abundant marine life creates dive memories that'll have you planning your next trip before you even surface.
