Checkout Dive – Key Largo

At Bluewater Divers, our Checkout Dive in Key Largo is designed to help newly certified divers build confidence and feel comfortable in the water. Whether it has been a little while since your certification or you simply want guided practice before more advanced dives, this experience is the perfect way to refresh your skills in a relaxed and supportive setting.

During your checkout trip, you will complete two shallow, easy-paced dives under the direct supervision of a professional instructor or divemaster. Before entering the water, we review dive planning, equipment setup, and all safety procedures to ensure you feel fully prepared.

Once underwater, you will practice essential scuba skills such as mask clearing, regulator recovery, buoyancy control, and controlled ascents. Our team keeps the pace comfortable and encouraging, giving you time to focus on technique while still enjoying the beauty of Key Largo’s reefs. There is also plenty of opportunity to explore, observe marine life, and simply enjoy being back underwater.

This experience is ideal for:

• Anyone wanting to improve buoyancy and overall comfort

• If a confined water (pool) session is required, there is an additional $55 fee. Please select this option when booking.

• For boat days, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
