Scuba Diving with Pascal Van Craenenbroek - Rates & Booking

An Instructor of BlueWater Divers on Thursday, June will guide you through some of the most captivating underwater terrain in Florida. Each dive charter lasts between 3 and 4 hours, taking you to either two beautiful reefs, a combination of wreck and reef, or two wrecks depending on your certification level and current conditions. Groups are kept intimate, accommodating between 1 and 6 divers comfortably aboard the boat.

Certified divers (ages 10+) are $100 per person with proof of certification required. Snorkelers (ages 8+) join for $95. Reserve now with just a 25% deposit and pay the remainder once your dives are complete. BlueWater Divers handles all logistics: tanks, weights, snacks, and fresh water are provided. You'll have access to dock-side rinse stations, on-board camera rinse tanks, free parking, restrooms, and showers. No extra gear rental hassles or hidden charges.

Pascal and the team determine exact dive locations based on your group's lowest certification level, weather conditions, and seasonal variations. Call ahead if you need specific dive site information or have questions about which wrecks and reefs you'll explore.

Highlights of Your Key Largo Dive Charter

The waters around Key Largo hold some of Florida's most dynamic dive sites. You'll encounter thriving coral gardens teeming with tropical fish, navigate through the ethereal structure of historic shipwrecks, and experience the clarity that makes this location legendary among divers. Pascal's deep local knowledge ensures you access the best sites based on conditions and your skill level, transforming each trip into a customized adventure.

What sets this experience apart is the balance between serious technique and genuine enthusiasm. Pascal is known for remembering diver preferences, adjusting the experience to match your goals, and weaving detailed local knowledge into every descent. Whether you're a first-time diver needing encouragement or an experienced explorer seeking hidden reef corners, the attention to detail makes the difference.

On the Water Experience in Key Largo's Dive Zones

Descending into Key Largo's waters immerses you in a world of contrasts. The reefs explode with color - brain coral formations, swaying sea fans, schools of yellowtail snapper, and the sudden appearance of larger pelagic species. Visibility typically ranges impressively, letting you see geological formations and marine life across broad distances. The wrecks present a different sensation entirely: you're drifting through human history, exploring structural details colonized by coral and fish, feeling the weight of stories beneath the surface.

The boat ride itself becomes part of the experience. The white dive boat cuts through crystal-blue tropical water with palm-lined shores visible in the distance, setting expectations for what's below. Between dives, you relax on deck in the warm Florida sun, rinse your camera in the onboard tank, hydrate, and swap dive stories. The intimate group size means no crowding, no rushed descents, and genuine attention from your guide.

Water conditions vary seasonally, but Key Largo's reef systems remain among Florida's most stable and vibrant. Summer brings warmer waters and better for certain pelagic encounters. Winter offers enhanced visibility and cooler temperatures. Pascal monitors conditions constantly, adjusting site selections to ensure you experience the best the location offers on your scheduled date.

Plan Your Dive Day

Arrive early to prepare your gear and meet Pascal and the crew. The boat departs for your first site, typically reaching depth within 20-30 minutes of departure. After 45-60 minutes of exploration, you surface, rest, and prepare for the second dive. The full experience concludes within 3-4 hours total, leaving your afternoon or evening free. Bring your certification card, arrive hydrated, and wear sunscreen - the tropical sun reflects intensely off the water. Everything else, from tanks to guidance to encouragement, is covered by the crew's expertise and hospitality.
