Our instructor of BlueWater Divers on Saturday, May 30th leads twice-daily dive charters to the reefs and wrecks off Key Largo. Each trip lasts 3 to 4 hours depending on dive sites and conditions. Certified divers (ages 10+) are $100 - just bring proof of your highest certification level. Snorkelers (ages 8+) are $95 and welcome to join the boat. Reserve now with a 25% deposit and pay the remainder after your dives are complete.
We provide tanks, weights, snacks, and fresh water throughout the trip. Dock-side and onboard camera rinse tanks keep your gear in top shape. Free parking, restrooms, and on-site showers round out the full service experience. Groups range from 1 to 6 people, keeping the dive experience personal and comfortable.
The boat visits carefully selected locations based on your group's certification levels and current water conditions. You might explore two pristine reef systems, combine a wreck and reef dive, or descend through two different wrecks - each offering distinct underwater landscapes and marine life encounters. Your guide knows these waters inside and out and adjusts the day based on what you want to see and what conditions allow.
The small group format means no crowded boat decks or rushed turnarounds. You get quality time in the water and genuine attention from your instructor, making this a standout experience compared to larger commercial operations.
Key Largo's underwater environment combines vibrant coral reef systems with historic shipwrecks that have become artificial reefs. The water here supports diverse marine life and provides excellent visibility for photography and observation. Descending toward the reef or wreck, you'll notice the transition from shallow sandy areas to deeper structures covered in coral and sponges.
The dive sites themselves range from colorful coral gardens teeming with tropical fish to eerily preserved shipwreck interiors where the history is tangible. Each site tells a different story - whether it's the thriving ecosystem of a living reef or the haunting beauty of a vessel reclaimed by the ocean. The experience of swimming through these underwater landscapes with a knowledgeable guide transforms a simple dive into something memorable.
Water conditions vary seasonally, but your instructor monitors this constantly and chooses sites that offer the best visibility and safest conditions for your group's experience level. Between dives, the boat provides a comfortable spot to rest, hydrate, and decompress while enjoying the Keys' tropical setting.
Trips run twice daily, so you can choose the time slot that works best for your schedule. Bring your certification card or digital proof of certification. The boat provides all essential gear - tanks, weights, and rinse stations - so you mainly need to bring a swimsuit, towel, and any personal items. Snacks and fresh water are provided on board.
Factor in 3 to 4 hours total, including boat time to the sites and surface intervals between dives. The group size stays small (maximum 6 divers), so you won't feel rushed or crowded. After diving, rinse off in the on-site showers before heading out, and take advantage of the free parking while you enjoy the experience.
