Scuba Diving with BlueWater Divers - Rates & Booking

Our instructor with BlueWater Divers on Sunday, July 5th is ready to guide you through some incredible underwater terrain around Key Largo. These dive charters run twice daily, giving you flexibility to join whenever works best for your schedule.

Pricing is straightforward: Certified divers (ages 10+) are $100 per person - just bring your c-card to prove your highest certification level. Snorkelers (ages 8+) are $95. Each trip lasts 3 to 4 hours depending on which sites you're hitting that day. We take a 25% deposit to secure your spot, and you pay the balance once your dives are done.

What's included: Tanks and weights, all snacks and water you need while on the boat, dock-side rinse tank for your gear, an onboard camera rinse tank for your photos, free parking, restrooms, and on-site showers. Everything's covered so you can focus on the dive.

Groups run from 1 to 6 people comfortably, so whether you're flying solo or bringing friends, we've got room. The boat takes you out to either two beautiful reefs, a wreck and reef combo, or two wrecks - it all depends on your group's certification levels, weather conditions, and what's best for that day.

Highlights of Our Key Largo Dive Charter

What makes these trips stand out is the variety. One day you might be swimming through a historic shipwreck with fish weaving around the structure, the next you're gliding along a vibrant coral reef teeming with life. Key Largo's underwater world has something for every diver, and our instructors know exactly where to find the best conditions and most interesting sites.

The boat setup is built for comfort and functionality. Plenty of deck space means you're not cramped with your gear, and there's room to relax between dives. The twice-daily schedule means you can catch morning light underwater, come back for lunch, and still make the afternoon trip if you're feeling it.

On the Water Experience - What You'll Encounter

Key Largo's underwater landscape is one of Florida's most dynamic dive destinations. You'll be exploring reefs where the water stays a gorgeous deep blue, with coral formations that have developed over decades. The life here is abundant - tropical fish, rays, sea turtles, and yes, sharks. Sharks in this area are generally reef dwellers going about their business, and seeing them is actually a sign you're in a healthy ecosystem.

The water conditions typically run clear enough for excellent visibility, depending on weather. Summer months like July can bring warmer water and good visibility. The reefs themselves are working ecosystems - branching corals, brain corals, and sea fans create the structure where fish find food and shelter. When you descend, you're entering an environment that's been thriving for generations.

If you're exploring a wreck, that's a different kind of magic. Historic shipwrecks become artificial reefs over time, and fish colonize every nook. You'll see how marine life adapts to these structures, with grouper, snapper, and smaller tropicals using the wreck as home. The experience feels almost like visiting an underwater ghost town - fascinating and peaceful at the same time.

The combination of reefs and wrecks available on our charters means you're not doing the same dive twice. Conditions change daily, certifications vary, and our crew tailors each trip to what makes sense that particular day. That's what keeps people coming back.

Plan Your Key Largo Dive Day

Here's what a typical trip looks like: You arrive at the dock and get checked in. Your instructor reviews the plan for the day - which sites you're hitting, what to expect, and answers any questions. Gear gets sorted, tanks are loaded, and everyone boards when it's time.

The boat ride out gives you time to relax, chat with other divers, and get mentally ready. Once you reach the first site, you'll do a quick orientation dive or review before heading down. After exploring that site, you surface, take a break, have some water and snacks, and prep for dive two. Some groups do two dives, some do three - the 3-4 hour window lets us pace it right for your group's comfort and certification level.

Everything you need is provided. Tanks get checked, weights are there, all your major gear is covered. You just bring yourself, your certification, and your sense of adventure. We handle the rest, including making sure you leave with clean gear and a hot shower available right there at the facility.
