Summary

Ready for an unforgettable dive charter in Key Largo? Join our twice-daily scuba trips exploring colorful reefs and historic wrecks off Florida's coast. This Monday in August, experienced divers and snorkelers alike will discover what makes these waters special - all with tanks, weights, and expert guidance included.

Scuba Diving with Pascal Van Craenenbroek - Rates & Booking

The Instructor at BlueWater Divers heads out on Monday morning to lead certified divers and snorkelers to some of Key Largo's most popular dive sites. Whether you're a seasoned diver with multiple certifications or just getting comfortable underwater, these 3-4 hour trips accommodate all experience levels.

Certified divers pay $100 per person (bring your c-card for proof), and snorkelers join for $95. The minimum group size is one person, but the boat comfortably handles up to six, which keeps things personal and manageable. Just reserve your spot with a 25% deposit - you'll pay the rest after your dives are complete.

What's included? Tanks, weights, snacks, and fresh water while on the boat. You'll also get dock-side rinse tanks for your gear, camera rinse tanks, free parking, restrooms, and on-site showers. All the practical stuff is covered so you can focus on the experience.

Kids as young as 10 can join certified dives, and snorkelers as young as 8 are welcome. Dive sites rotate between two beautiful reefs, wreck-and-reef combos, or two wrecks depending on your group's certification levels, current conditions, and how the schedule lines up. Call ahead if you want specifics about which sites you'll hit.

Ready to book? Select a date to see gear rental options and confirm your dive guide. Questions about your certification or what to expect? The team is happy to walk you through dive specifics before you commit.

Highlights of Your Scuba Charter

Key Largo's reefs are some of the most vibrant in the Keys - think healthy coral, abundant fish life, and water clear enough to see 60+ feet on a good day. The wreck dives offer something totally different: exploring historic shipwrecks that have become artificial reefs teeming with marine life. Every trip is a little different based on conditions, which keeps regular divers coming back.

The boat's setup is built for comfort and safety. There's plenty of deck space to organize your gear, relax between dives, and soak in the ocean views. Your guide knows these waters inside and out and will make sure everyone feels confident and safe underwater.

On the Water Experience

Diving Key Largo means exploring what's arguably Florida's most famous underwater destination. The water here is typically warm year-round, clear on calm days, and alive with activity. You'll encounter reef fish like groupers, snappers, and jacks, plus the chance to spot rays, turtles, and if you're lucky, larger pelagics cruising by.

The reef structure itself is the real star - centuries-old coral formations, some the size of buildings, create a otherworldly landscape. The color and texture change as you descend, and different depths reveal different communities of fish and invertebrates. Wreck dives add another dimension: swimming through corridors and chambers of sunken ships is surreal, especially when you see how many fish have made these structures home.

Water conditions vary seasonally. Summer brings calmer seas but warmer water and occasional reduced visibility. Winter offers crystal-clear days but choppier conditions. Your guide will position the boat at the best sites given what the day offers, so you always get quality time underwater. The 3-4 hour format gives you enough time to complete two dives comfortably, decompress between them, and enjoy the boat ride back.

What makes this experience different from shore diving or solo trips is the structure and local knowledge. Your guide has logged hundreds of dives on these exact reefs and wrecks - they know where the best creatures hang out, the safest routes through each site, and how to read the conditions to keep everyone happy and safe.

Plan Your Dive Day

The boat departs twice daily, with trips filling fast during peak season. Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early to get your gear sorted and meet your guide. Bring your certification card, a towel, and sunscreen - the sun reflects hard off the water. The shop provides fresh water and snacks on board, but feel free to bring your own if you have dietary needs.

Groups range from solo divers to small families or friend groups up to six people. Smaller groups mean more personalized attention and easier logistics. If you're bringing kids, make sure they meet the age and certification requirements - the dive team can advise on training options if needed.

After your dives, rinse off at the dock, use the on-site showers if you need them, and grab a beverage before heading out. The whole operation is relaxed but professional - no ego, no rush, just people who love diving getting you into the water safely.
