Scuba Diving with BlueWater Divers - Rates & Booking

Our dive charter with BlueWater Divers operates twice daily from Key Largo, delivering divers and snorkelers to Florida Keys' most rewarding underwater sites. Certified divers are $100 per person (proof of certification required), while snorkelers enjoy the same experience for $95. Each trip runs 3-4 hours depending on dive site selection and current conditions.

We accommodate groups from 1-6 people comfortably, with flexible scheduling to match your dive certification levels. Reserve your spot with just a 25% deposit and pay the remainder when your dives are complete. Your instructor guide knows these waters intimately and will select dive locations based on weather, group experience, and available sites - typically choosing between two reefs, a wreck and reef combination, or two wrecks.

All equipment is provided including tanks, weights, snacks, and fresh water throughout the trip. We maintain dock-side rinse stations, camera rinse tanks, free parking, onsite restrooms, and showers for your convenience. This is premium small-group diving without the crowds of larger operations.

Highlights of Your Key Largo Dive Charter

Key Largo's underwater environment ranks among the most accessible and visually rewarding dive destinations on the Florida coast. The area features thriving coral reefs with vibrant marine life, pristine water clarity on optimal days, and historically significant shipwrecks that tell stories of maritime heritage. Your certified guide will position the boat strategically, ensuring maximum bottom time at sites suited to your skill level.

Small group dynamics mean personalized attention and flexibility. Whether you're exploring delicate coral formations or navigating through wreck corridors, your instructor manages pace and safety while sharing local knowledge about the reefs' history and ecology. Snorkelers benefit equally from the same stunning locations, experiencing shallow reef systems and clear water visibility that make Key Largo a premier tropical destination.

Dive Experience in Key Largo Waters

Diving Key Largo places you directly into one of North America's most productive coral reef systems. The water temperature ranges from warm to tropical depending on season, and visibility often exceeds 40 feet on ideal days. The reef environment supports dense populations of tropical fish, sea turtles, rays, and other marine life that make every dive photogenic and memorable.

The wrecks available in the area represent various depths and structural conditions, offering experienced divers technical opportunities while maintaining safety protocols. Many are reef-covered, creating hybrid environments where coral growth has transformed the wreck structure into living habitat. Your guide's familiarity with tide patterns, current direction, and seasonal conditions ensures you experience Key Largo's best assets when you visit.

Snorkelers gain access to the same reef formations and marine life viewpoints without depth requirements, making this activity genuinely inclusive for mixed-skill groups. The shallow coral gardens provide outstanding biodiversity viewing and photography opportunities throughout the dive day.

Plan Your Dive Day

Arrive at the dock with your certification card and plan 15-20 minutes for boat briefing and equipment setup. Your guide will review the day's dive site, expected conditions, descent procedures, and emergency protocols. Gear setup happens efficiently on the deck, where you'll have ample space to organize your equipment and get comfortable before departure.

The boat accommodates up to 6 guests with dedicated space for gear storage, shaded relaxation areas between dives, and easy access for entry and exit. Snacks and fresh water are continuously available. After your final dive, rinse stations keep your gear fresh, and onsite facilities allow you to shower before departing. Most divers complete the full experience ready to explore Key Largo's above-water attractions or rest before an evening activity.
